Dr. Christof Hirsch is a consultant in Spencer Stuart's Düsseldorf office and a member of the global Consumer and Retail, Apparel & Luxury Goods practices. He has more than 10 years of experience in executive search, helping organizations fill management positions in all facets and formats of the retail business across all distribution channels. Advising both small, family-run companies and large, international retailers in Europe, Christof has in-depth knowledge of different organizational structures in retail. He is a sought-after adviser for helping organizations tackle cross-functional challenges arising from digital transformation and rapidly changing consumer behavior. Before joining Spencer Stuart, Christof was a managing director with a leading executive search boutique, focused primarily on consumer products & retail. Christof has a degree in sociology from the University of Trier and earned his doctorate at the Department of Organizational Psychology at TU Dortmund University. He is also a certified business coach and advises executives in decision-making situations as well as on a variety of topics such as conflicts at the workplace, leadership and motivation.
